Toertje launched a cycling app that makes it easier and more fun to ride a bike. Giving that launch a big push in the Dutch press, that’s where we came in...
Strong story and lobby
The basis was a strong press release for lifestyle, cycling and daily media. With that story under our belts, we did a targeted lobby for interviews with the founder of Toertje and various of its ambassadors. To give it an extra hook, we timed it all around "Bike to Work Day”.
30+ clippings, 25.000+ downloads
More than 30 publications covered the app launch. With a good mix of general (including Algemeen Dagblad in print), lifestyle (including this interview in LINDA.) and vertical media (iCulture, Bicycling, Wielrenner).
Soon 25,000+ people had downloaded the app. And so - icing on the cake - we also made our contribution to a healthier Netherlands.
