Amplifying marketing through PR
In 2021, star chefs from all over the world travelled to Antwerp for the election of 'The World's 50 Best Restaurants'. As the host PR agency for this Belgian first, we generated big media buzz in the run-up to the event. And on D-day, our team managed the massive media influx professionally and with style.
‘50 Best’ is coming to town
In the fall of 2021, star chefs from all over the world travelled to Antwerp for the international culinary event of the year: the election of 'The World's 50 Best Restaurants'. Our assignment: to generate as much qualitative press attention as possible and manage the massive media presence on this event.
Continuous newsflow
Early on in the run-up to the actual election, the buzz around 50 Best spread throughout the Belgian media landscape, thanks to a smart newsflow that always lifted the veil a bit further. The big day –with the press conference and ceremony - also attracted massive coverage.
Event PR multitasking
During the press conference, we accompanied some major culi media when they had the unique opportunity to interview a group of international star chefs. And when winner Noma was announced, we had our hands full with the many interview questions and the scoop promised to our biggest national TV network.
Whatever happened, our five '50 Best' team members kept their cool and managed the media professionally and with style. And the media buzz we had created early on in the run-up to the event continued in the aftermath.
Even more glamour afterwards at the exclusive finissage in the KMSKA museum and the after party. The ideal wrap-up of this very hectic but enormously rewarding project.
