My Little Pony released a brand new Netflix movie highlighting uniqueness and friendship. Charly PR brought the story to life with an interactive press event at a perfectly matching location. A creative teaser campaign quickly filled the guest list to the brim, generating 14 million views.
Awareness for a new movie
The newest My Little Pony Netflix movie was all about the value of friendship and being your unique self. And along with that came new pony characters. Our challenge: to launch the movie, the message and the new ponies in the Benelux.
Teaser campaign and press and influencer event
To highlight the launch for as long as possible, we set up a teaser campaign on Instagram. The best family influencers from our network posted colorful, interactive stories. And using a branded Instagram filter, mommies and their kids discovered which pony suited them best. This resulted in a quickly filled guest list.
We set up shop in the WONDR museum in Amsterdam, a spot that perfectly matched our message. A strong story did the rest to attract many Belgian media and influencers.
Our team dedicated every room of the museum to an activity that matched a different pony, and the highlight of the day was a cosy movie premiere. Handing out the goodiebags at the start of the event turned out to be the perfect way to bring our mini VIPs together to discover everything.

14 million views and happy faces
15 media outlets and 37 influencers joined us for the event with their kids. This boosted the reach of our awareness campaign to 14 million views. The icing on the cake: a day filled with happy faces and new friendships!
