Launch global internal core team
Launch global internal core team
Organizations that depend on public funding continuously need to demonstrate their relevance. We have successfully met that challenge for Belnet for many years, for example through the launch of the BNIX Internet Barometer.
Position Belnet as an indispensable social link
In order to remain visibly relevant to your funders as an organization, you don’t only need to flawlessly complete your tasks.
Showing how indispensable your work is, is equally important. We’ve been successfully helping Belnet do that for many years, and when corona broke out in 2020, we found the ideal opportunity for a new story...
Translating IT into social relevance
On top of its core role within the Belgian R&E community, Belnet also manages the national Internet exchange BNIX. To highlight this crucial task, we analyzed the impact of corona on Internet traffic the year before. The analysis provided ample material for the launch of the BNIX Internet Barometer. That way, we offered the media annual insight into Belgian data traffic and linked peaks and lows to social trends.
Huge awareness about BNIX
Every year, the barometer generates massive quality coverage in both general (e.g. Knack, Het Nieuwsblad en La Libre Belgique) and IT media. It even inspired VRT NWS to produce this long piece on the role of BNIX in the Internet landscape. The impact of BNIX on over 11,000,000 Belgians has never been more visible and we’re continuingly reinforcing it through service-related news in IT and business media.
Want to make a team, service, product, project,… more visible? We translate it into a strong story that generates awareness with your target audience.
