This is an entry-level training, individually or in groups. It is useful for all management members, communication staff and anyone involved in your company communications (marcom, sales, reception, ...). After the session, these people all know the basics about how to act when a crisis occurs. Specifically, the crisis communication knowledge session treats the folllowing:

- How do you prepare for a crisis?
- How do you handle a crisis?
- Who are your stakeholders?
- What messages do you communicate through which channels?
- Examples of previous crises and lessons learned.
Practice
In smaller groups we then practice around a realistic crisis scenario for your organization.

Crisis simulation
Managing a realistic crisis situation that could hit your company: that's what your crisis team, including your spokes person(s), experience in our crisis simulation. You experience what it's like to make decisions and to communicate under pressure. That way you'll do it right in money time.
What your team does and learns:
- Determine strategy and messaging at the start of the crisis
- Continuously adjust in light of unexpected events
- Interviews with the media (spokes)
- Assess reputational impact of operational choices and challenge your company management about them
- Set priorities and make decisions under time pressure
- After the crisis: evaluate and advise on improvements to better handle future crisis
This simulation is also an excellent teambuilding activity.
